• TECHNICAL SERGEANT Michael P. Muller

Michael P. Muller is the CEO of Camp Goalz. He joined the United States Air Force, September 1986. His first assignment was at the US Air Force Academy where he served as a surgical technician. In 1989 he was transferred to the 146th Air Lift Wing in California. There he spent five years as an aero medical evacuation specialist. Following his tour in California, Michael was deployed to Desert Shield/Storm. In 1998 he became a combat correspondent and served in the following operations; Southern Watch, Noble Eagle, Hurricane Katrina, and Operation Jumpstart. Michael is currently serving on active duty in Los Angeles in a security forces unit.

 

Michael is married and has three children.

 

 

GUNNERY SERGEANT Brian D. Vargyas

GySgt Vargyas joined the Marine Corps on January 5, 1994

Deployments: 3 - Okinawa Japan, 2 - Husaybah Iraq, Multiple stateside

School of Infantry (SOI-W) Camp Pendleton Ca. Charlie Co where he presently is the Company Gunnery Sergeant.

Sgt Glawe entered through Delayed Enlistment Program into the U.S. Marine Corps

 • SSGT. ERIC B. COLLYER

Enlisted in the Marine Corps on Jan 22, 2002. SSgt. Collyer's first assignment was as an Anti-Tank Assualtmen with 1st Battalion 1st Marine Division. While with 1/1 SSgt. Collyer took on the billet of Marine Scout Sniper team leader and chief scout after graduating Scout Sniper School in Quantico, Virginia. SSgt. Collyer has been on two deployments to Iraq and is currently serving as the current Chief Instructor for Combat Hunter at Infantry Training Battalion, School of Infantry West. SSgt. Collyer is married with 3 step children.

Sgt Brimager enlisted in the Marine Corps at MCRD San Diego, Ca. April 2004

 

He served as a ceremonial marcher in the Inauguration of President Bush and the funeral of President Ronald Reagan.

 

Deployments include: Hawaii, Singapore, Thailand, Kuwait, Dubai, Australia and Iraq.

 

Has served as: Squad Leader, NCOIC of a company level Military Transition Team, Rifle Platoon Instructor and Machine Gun Instructor.

Enlisted in the United States Navy on Dec. 15th, 2003. "Doc" Hoch is one of the medical corpsman on staff.

Deployments include: Bridgeport, CA for Mountain Medicine Course and Cold Weather Mountain Warfare Training; San Diego, CA for Operational Emergency Medical School; Fallujah, Iraq; Abu Ghraib, Iraq; Husaybah, Iraq; Al Qaim, Iraq; Karabola, Iraq with 3rd Bn 4th Marines Kilo Co.

HM3(FMF) Jacobs, Daniel “Doc” entered the US Navy on the 10th of August in 2004
Deployed to Iraq once with 3/7 India Co. After being injured spent a stent of 2 years in recovery. SOI(West) as MCT Senior Line
Currently Serving as the “Baby Doc” at Wounded Warrior Battalion West

HM2(FMF) Nathan D. Brindley enlisted in the Navy on July 8th 2004


HM2(FMF) Brindley is Camp Goalz medical "corpsman" on staff.

Deployments include:Camp Pendleton California, Haditha Iraq, USS Comstock with stations in Hawaii, Singapore, Australia and  Iraq. Instructor at Combat Trauma Management, and currently serving at 52 Area Branch Health Clinic.

 • COACH Valentin Lopez

Coach Valentin Lopez brings close to 10 years of high school, and 1 year of Jr. College baseball coaching experience. He is greatly influenced by his personal playing experiences and brings in his own positive coaching philosophy to our camp.

He received his Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies and received his Master’s of Science in Physical Education.

During Coach Lopez playing days at Hueneme High School, he was All-C.I.F. as a pitcher. While attending Oxnard Jr. College, he was part of 2 league championships. During his senior season at California State University Northridge, he helped guide his team to a Conference Championship, Regional Championship, and participated in the Division II College World Series National Championship Game.

After college, he played professionally as a player/coach for the European League Antwerpen Pioneers in Belgium.
