CampGoalz hosted its first weekend with a local Southern California Baseball High School team.  This particular weekend was a test to the staff on how we did with the athletes.  We had asked each of the team members to fill out a survey to let us know how we did and what they would like to see next time they join the experience.  Below are a few of the testimonials we received from our first weekend.

My time at Campgoalz will be something that I will never forget. At Campgoalz I developed a type of bond with a team that I never thought would be able to get along. That weekend was a special weekend. Something I am going to cherish for the rest of my life. The leaders at campgoalz are my heroes! Before I could care less of some of the team members, but now I feel like I will do anything for them and they would do the same for me.

Campgoalz has become one of my favorite memories of my high school experience. I had been sick the day before we left for campgoalz, but I wasn't going to miss out on the oppty.Camping out on the beach, spending the weekend with friends away from home, it was what I felt the team needed. Like I said, before, I will never forget the experience. I am my teammates/family are better people and we are definitely a stronger team because of what we learned at Campgoalz.

What the Sergeants are doing at Campgoalz is truly amazing. In baseball you need skill, good work ethics and teamwork. We had the first two but we did not have a lot of teamwork. All in all I loved my time at campgoalz and really appreciate what it has given me. I learned alot and got to really know my teammates. I think that all sports teams should have an experience like Campgoalz. It really helped us mesh as a team and I think it could really help other teams and programs at our school. I really appreciate what the Sergeants did for us and I wish if all possible to go back again.

Campgoalz to me was a place where our baseball team became a family. We were faced with many obstacles and challenges that I personally did not want to finish and was in the state of mind to quit but because of my teammates they were able to help push through. The biggest change I saw from the beginning of the camp to the end was each player's desire to help each other look out for each player not as just another guy on the team but as a brother. I want to thank campgoalz for not only changing our baseball team for the better but for making me a better person and helping me become a better man.

There is no better team building activity than Campgoalz and I know that our team greatly benefited from it. We went into this season more motivated and much more prepared because of this camp. Our team is closer than ever and we owe it to Campgoalz.

When the team first learned of taking a trip together to build team unity and leadership we were very excited. When we found out we were going to Camp Pendelton to participate in the very first Campgoalz, much of the excitement turned into fear of the unknown, Nobody knew what we were getting into since Arcadia Baseball was the first. We weren't able to look back at previous groups to see what exactly went on. Throughout the weekend we grew as individuals as well as a collective. There were no problems amongst the team anymore and communication was great. Team unity was at an all time high and the moral of everyone was through the roof. The Camgoalz weekend is something I will never forget. Three days of hard work is what helped tied the loose ends with our team. Campgoalz was vital to our success and it was a very humbling experience to be a part of.

Campgoalz is an experience that I will never forget. The reason we went in the first place was because it seemed like our had many clicks and not a lot of leaders, but after the trip that all changed we became very close as a team and we had many leaders step up. I think by going to Campgoalz we had leaders prevail and as a team we became a family. It is something that I would recommend to any team because I gained 19 brothers from this one trip.
